Join us October 25th to raise awareness for the Turtle Survival Alliance (TSA). TSA is an action-oriented global partnership that is committed to zero turtle extinctions in the 21st century. We are bringing out some of our turtles from the Turtle Survival Center near Charleston to mingle with guests in the Holy City Brewing tap room! Turtles will be on site at 4pm.

Holy City will be releasing a brand new collaboration beer, with money from each pint going back to TSA! The brewery kitchen will be preparing special menu items to pair for the event and Drink Beer Save Turtles tee shirts will also be on sale with all proceeds going to the charity.

All ages of turtle fans welcome! Come out for a great cause!

Over a dozen local craft breweries will battle it out to become Pour Taproom's first King of the Kegs.

The idea is simple but the battle will be fierce; the first keg to kick is the winner and will be crowned the King of the Kegs. The individual who kicks the winning keg will also share in the spoils of war. 1st through 3rd place will win Pour gift cards. All keg kickers will bring home local brewery swag. Kegs will be tapped at 4:00 and the event will end at 9:00. There will also be delicious Charleston Beer Week food specials and live music.

On Saturday, Sept. 27 at 7pm the brewer of the popular Cup of Clouds (NEIPA), Fam’s Brewing Co., invites beer enthusiasts to enjoy a night learning about IPA. Attendees will get to go on never-before-seen brewery tour, have an informative discussion about IPA, taste 6 different local IPAs, and sample some food that has been infused with IPAs and Frank's Red Hot Sauce or Stubb's BBQ sauces.

Way back when, three beardless fellas used to dream of owning a brewery and they used to brew at home almost non stop. Every few months they would hold tasting parties to show off their latest creations. Guests would come and be offered 6 different beers paired with 6 different Hors d'oeuvres. Nine years later they now own a brewery and taproom but wanted to bring back that old feeling of inviting people into their home to taste some of their latest creations.

This event will have a USATF Certified course with clearly marked mile markers and out and back course. The Commonhouse Mile is sure to be fun for the whole family. We have a stroller friendly course and a free kids 400 meter dash. The race starts and finishes at Commonhouse Aleworks. After the race stay for a while and relax with family and friends enjoying the after party and awards ceremony.

Closed For Business will be celebrating Charleston Beer Week all week long by encouraging guests to come in dressed in brewery gear (hats, shirts, hoodies, you name it)! Any guests wearing brewery gear will have the opportunity to enter our Beer Week raffle. The winner will be drawn during our “Hop-coming” All-Local Tap Takeover on Friday, September 14. The winner of the raffle will win a bunch of CFB & Beer Week swag and will be crowned our 2018 “Hop-coming” King or Queen. All of our taps will feature selections from breweries right here in our hometown, which can be paired with a few special dishes from our CFB kitchen.
